WOLVES

Wolves have been alerted to the availability of Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso, who they want to take on loan after he was made available by the claret and blues.

WEST BROM

Jimmy Briand has claimed that West Brom have asked about a proposed move to the Hawthorns, but the 27-year-old striker may opt to stay in France with his club Lyon.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa and Premier League rivals Stoke have been linked with a £2.5million move for Senegal defender Abdoulaye Ba, 22, who plays for Portuguese giants Porto.

Aston Villa could face competition from top-flight compatriots Swansea to land £8.5million-rated Twente forward Nacer Chadli, after the Swans dropped their interest in Wilfried Bony.

BIRMINGHAM

Birmingham City are expecting to bring two new defenders to St Andrew's this week, with Kyle Bartley and Dan Burn set to join on season-long loans from Swansea and Fulham respectively.

WALSALL

Walsall could face a real battle to keep hold of star winger Jamie Paterson, 21, with Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough emerging as serious bidders for the Saddlers star.
