We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES-WEST BROM

One that got away from the Black Country, Wolverhampton-born Ashley Williams, could move from Swansea to Arsenal this summer. The 28-year-old started his career at West Brom.

Wolves may decide against a loan move for Reading striker Simon Church, 24, after the improved impact of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Bjorn Sigurdarson, plus the emergence of Jake Cassidy.

Kevin Doyle was on the bench for last night's 2-0 win at Millwall, further fuelling rumours a move to Celtic could again be on the cards at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, West Brom defender Craig Dawson will not be sold to his loan employers Bolton, but fellow Baggies defender Gabriel Tamas could be moved on due to his impact.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke and Andreas Weimann could be the target of a double raid from Premier League rivals Tottenham this summer.

All quiet on the transfer front for Birmingham at St Andrew's, ditto for Walsall at the Banks's Stadium. Midfielder Nicky Featherstone signed a new contract with the Saddlers yesterday.
