WEST BROM
The opening of the loan window could give West Brom the chance to offload Peter Odemwingie to Crystal Palace, while Blackburn will revive a move for Baggies winger Jerome Thomas.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa top scorer Christian Benteke, 22, apparently plans to leave the struggling club at the end of the season for a £16million move to either Manchester City, Chelsea or Arsenal.
BIRMINGHAM
Birmingham could be offered goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan for all of next season, as well, despite selling him to Stoke last month, who want to keep Asmir Begovic as their No 1.
ELSEWHERE
All quiet for Wolves at Molineux today, ditto for Birmingham and Walsall.
