VILLA
There are still big rumours in Liverpool that Villa striker Darren Bent will end up at Anfield by the end of January. But there are also suggestions that Andy Carroll could make the journey in the opposite direction. On the other hand he is also being linked with a loan move back to Newcastle.
Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland are battling it out for Aston Villa defender James Collins.
WOLVES
Karl Henry has insisted he is unaware of reported interest from Queens Park Rangers, although he did almost move to Loftus Road earlier in his career.
Mick McCarthy will have to up his £1million bid if he is to have a chance of signing Nicky Maynard from Bristol City.
Michael Kightly’s loan spell at Watford has come to an end. He’s joined by Andy Keogh who has returned from his loan spell at Leeds.
BLUES
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is said to be the latest Premier League boss looking at a move for Liam Ridgewell.
