Transfer rumours – December 30

Expressandstar.com bring you transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa, Birmingham and Walsall.

We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves face added competition from Spain to land £3million-rated Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame, with Real Betis after the Senegal international.

WEST BROM

West Brom have been pegged back in the race to sign Glasgow Rangers ace Nikica Jelavic, with Queens Park Rangers set to make a £7million bid.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa are the favourites to land Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran on loan, but Premier League rivals Swansea will also make an enquiry.

BIRMINGHAM

Birmingham want to extend the loan of Guirane N’Daw in January – despite the Senegal midfielder’s impeding call up for the African Nations Cup.

WALSALL

A loan move appears to be Walsall’s only chance of landing Southampton striker Jonathan Forte, who has two-and-a-half years left of his contract.
