Stafford Rangers will hand a debut to Jason Beardsley as they ring the changes for the Staffordshire Senior Cup tie at Leek.

The former Derby County, Notts County and Macclesfield defender signed non-contract forms last week and was an unused substitute in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Worksop.

But Beardsley will definitely start tonight with goalkeeper Adam Alcock also set for this Rangers debut, over a month after signing for the club.

Alcock has been picked ahead of Danny Read, who should figure in Saturday's FA Trophy tie at Chester, while Sam Johnson has returned to Port Vale after two months on loan at Marston Road.

Joe Rogers will also play at the back as a one-off, before returning to Midland Alliance outfit Ellesmere Rangers, where he has spent this season with permission from Rangers.
