Expressandstar.com bring you transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa, Birmingham and Walsall.
We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest gossip.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has praised goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, whose loan spell with the Championship side is effectively over with the 25-year-old returning to Wolves to recover from a hand injury.
Mowbray said: “He finished with five clean sheets on the bounce and that’s quite an achievement.”
WEST BROM
Young US goalkeeper Bill Hamid will train with Albion for the first time today after joining the club on a week-long trial.
The 20-year-old had impressed for DC United in the recent MLS season, which ended last week.
ASTON VILLA
Alex McLeish has revealed how he missed out on bringing Birmingham City star Seb Larsson with him when he moved across the city in the summer.
The Swedish midfielder moved to Sunderland, who Villa face today, a few days before McLeish was appointed.
Meanwhile, there is some speculation that Alex McLeish is lining up an £8m move for out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.
BLUES
Young striker Jake Jervis has extended his loan spell at Swindon by another two months after impressing boss Paolo di Canio with three goals since he arrived at the County Ground in September.
WALSALL
Nothing new today after Dean Smith dipped into the loan market yesterday, bringing in Doncaster midfielder Mark Wilson.
