Latest transfer rumours – June 30

Expressandstar.com bring you the latest transfer gossip on Wolves, Albion, Villa, Birmingham and Walsall.

We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

VILLA

Villa are set to make a £9million bid for Charles N’Zogbia but they will face competition from Newcastle and Everton.

Villa reportedly want to sign Real Madrid youngster Sergio Canales on a season-long loan as a possible replacement for Ashley Young.

Villa have lost out to Celtic in their pursuit of Victor Wanyama.

WOLVES

Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths has confirmed he would welcome the chance to return to Scotland on loan. The 20-year-old is yet to make his Wolves debut after joining the Premier League outfit from Dundee in January.

BLUES

Hibernian have rejected Birmingham’s approach for Colin Calderwood. Blues want to make him Chris Hughton’s No.2

ELSEWHERE

Nothing to report. Let’s hope that things start to get a bit busier when the new month starts tomorrow.
