Follow all the stats minute by minute on our Match Centre

14:00: It’s all over at the Hawthorns and the first Premier League Black Country derby ends in a draw as a late equaliser earns a point for Albion, substitute Carlos Vela’s stoppage time equaliser pegging back Jamie O’Hara’s first-half goal.

13:55: Full-time at the Hawthorns and it finishes all square in the Black Country derby between Albion and Wolves at the Hawthorns.

13:52: Wow. The very foundations of the Hawthorns shook after that equaliser from Carlos Vela. Another loan signing – another instant Black Country hero.

13:51: GOAL! The Hawthorns crowd go wild as Albion get the equaliser that really didn’t seem like it was coming, substitute Carlos Vela in stoppge time and the Baggies looked to have snuck a point with a minute to go.

13:50: Final substitution of the Black Country derby as both teams have used all three subs and Wolves are shutting up shop from 1-0 up, defender Jody Craddock takes the place of winger Matt Jarvis.

13:40: I’m not sure anyone in the stadium will have any fingernails left after this one. It’s gone very tense from both ends.

13:39: Wolves also make another change, Stephen Ward enters the field of play for Kevin Foley.

13:38: Final change for Albion and it’s the experience of Steven Reid that comes in for Chile international Gonzalo Jara.

13:31: It’s Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey to the rescue again as Albion substitute Carlos Vela takes a shot and an evil deflection makes it difficult but the visitors survive.

13:30: Albion are thwarted by Matt Jarvis hacking clear off the line for Wolves – Jonas Olsson’s header is going in before the winger’s intevention at the last possible moment.

13:27: Albion roll the dice as they make their second change in search of an equaliser, on comes loan man Carlos Vela for Graham Dorrans.

13:28: Great reception for Sylvan Ebanks-Blake as he comes on. The Wolves fans are pleased to see Mick McCarthy bring on another striker.

13:23: First substitution for Wolves in the Black Country derby at Albion – Nenad Milijas is replaced by Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

13:25: Both managers on the edge of their boxes now – this game has really sparked off now.

13:22: A gilt-edged chance goes begging for Albion – Peter Odemwingie puts the ball in to Marc-Antoine Fortune but the striker completely misses the ball and it’s a let off for Wolves.

13:20: As the game starts to hot up with some heroic blocks, so do the crowd once more. Albion may be one down, but their fans still have the belief. Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is waving his players forwards, desperate to regain momentum.

13:16: First substitution of the Black Country derby and it’s Albion who make the change, Jerome Thomas off and on comes James Morrison.

13:15: Albion go close to an equaliser – Paul Scharner diverts the ball towards goal and it’s a fine save from Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey but, for some reason, referee Mike Dean awards a free-kick.

13:05: Wolves could have been two up here – Matt Jarvis breaks clear and with just goalkeeper Boaz Myhill to beat pulls it clear. Shades of Bolton all over again.

13:00: Second-half at the Hawthorns and it’s 1-0 to Wolves going into the second-half of the Black Country derby against Albion.

12:55: Listen to the Express & Star chief sports writer Martin Swain’s half-time verdict on the Black Country derby.

12:51: Jamie O’Hara’s fiance Danielle Lloyd was pleased with her man’s goal. She tweeted: “Woooo hooooo what a goal baby @mrjamieohara soooooo proud xx”

12:50: Half-time at the Hawthorns and it’s 1-0 to Wolves thanks to Jamie O’Hara’s first goal for the club in the Black Country derby against Albion.

12:44: ‘The Black Country’s ours’ sing the Wolves fans as we approach the break. As it stands, they’ll be enjoying their half-time pies more than the Albion fans.

12:40: Absolute delerium in the Wolves end when Jamie O’Hara scored that goal. The away end is rocking now and they’ve started bouncing up and down to mock their Black Country rivals.

12:39: GOAL! Against the run of the play, Wolves have the lead! Nenad Milijas lays it off to Jamie O’Hara and what a time for the on-loan midfielder to score his first goal for the club, curls one into the Albion net.

12:38: Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has taken a painful-looking kick to the family jewels from Jonas Olsson. Seems to have run it off now though.

12:34: Albion appear to go close as Graham Dorrans’ shot evades everyone apart from his own player on the line and it’s a touch from Marc-Antoine Fortune that stops it from going in – but the offside flag was up in any case.

12:31: The Albion fans are welcoming their new boss, singing ‘Hodgson’s barmy army’, as he gets out of his seat to give them a wave.

12:30: Every corner, free-kick and even throw-in is being met with thunderous applause from the fans. There’s no doubting how much this game means to them.

12:28: Derby fever has taken over the country it would seem.

The Wolves v Albion hashtag – #bcd – is currently one of the most talked about topics on Twitter as fans share their thoughts on the big game.

12:22: First real chance of the game as Jonas Olsson stoops highest to head towards goal and it’s a good save from Wayne Hennessey – the Wolves goalkeeper sticks out his left hand to divert the ball away.

12:20: Albion surge forward in what looked to be the first real opening of the game as Jerome Thomas advances into the Wolves box, but the winger takes far too much time on the ball and George Elokobi gets in to clear.

12:05: Interesting to note the differences between the two managers.

Albion boss Roy Hodgson has been sitting on the edge of his seat, studying the action, while Mick McCarthy has alternated has looked fairly relaxed, leaning against the wall of his dugout – coming forward occasionally to give instructions.

12:00: Kick off in the Black Country derby at the Hawthorns.

11:55: The Hawthorns is absolutely rocking as prepare for the biggest game of the season for both teams.

There were lots of nervous fans outside the ground before the game, but they’re all in full voice now that we’re inside the stadium.

The teams have just walked out to massive cheers and the atmosphere is absolutely electric as we approach kick-off.

11:50: Roy Hodgson walks out of the tunnel to thunderous applause from the Albion fans. Could there be a bigger game to start his tenure at the Hawthorns?

11:32: Now the Wolves fans have their say as they make their way up to the Hawthorns for the Black Country derby.

11:31: Listen to Albion fans giving their views on today’s game outside of the ground. Do you think they have got it spot on?

11:30: It’s the one we have all been waiting for and finally the day is here when Albion and Wolves renew hostilities in the Black Country derby, for the very first time in the Premier League.

With both clubs fighting relegation from the top flight, the stakes are higher than ever and the winning side could well drive a nail into the coffin of their local rivals, as well as claim three valuable points for their survival fight.

As usual not enough chances created, not enough goal threat against a side that have been shipping goals. Defending too deeply in second half, riding our luck.

And a poor miss from Jarvis that would have wrapped game up.

    Simply have to beat Blackpool.

The story of our season!!!! How many times has this happened now? This is why we are certainties for relegation and reckon Blackpool will turn us over next week. They sacked their boss when they were OUT of the relegation zone. We’re still bottom and we hang on to the clueless, inept wonder – O’Neill in NOW!!!!

SAID it 1000 times and will keep saying it. Tactically our manager is not good enough.
1 -0 up and we are doing well. Then he changes our shape and it all goes pear shaped.
Why oh why do we let WBA come onto us have a free shot at goal in the 91st minute.
Its the stuff of the 2nd and 3rd div not the Premiere League

WHAT A WASTE OF ANOTHER 2 POINTS.

I would love us to stay up but every week it is the same old storey.

2, totally agree. What team talk was given at half time. Was it ‘oh we’re winning by 1 goal, just chill out’.
And, why is Henry still captain and is the 1st team line up. The amount of balls he gave away.
How many points have we given away at the end of the game.

Mad Muppet Thicko Micko….Take off our creative players, bring on “Son of Mick”…Idiot Ward cannot even close down their attacker and lets him get the shot off…and Hennesey, sorry aren’t you paid a week what I earn in a year and you cannot even hold onto the damn ball!!!! Get rid of Thick Mick and Woeful Ward and “I cannot pass it forward” Henry (probably brother from another mother of Mick). O’Hara and Milijas at least know what direction to go in…. I absolutely despair. GOING DOWN, without a doubt.. God, when will Morgan get rid of this bumbling halfwit of a manager!!

    Typical Thick Mick again.
Why, when Jarvis was there to relieve the pressure by taking the ball up the pitch did he take him off?
Talk about inviting more pressure onto yourselves with 2 minutes left!…stupid decision

Also we came out well in the 2nd half…but it all turned on one point when Karl Henry “dillied” about on the ball as usual and DIDNT pass back and lost the ball, from that moment on we had 20+ minutes of Albion pressure….before that we had knocked passes around and got the Albion fans agitated..After that mistake the entire team passed like the ball was a bomb.

And how many times is Jarvis going to miss sitters?

We are down now, how many times have we given away late goals. Negative tactics in the second half has cost us again, why do we always try to hold on to one goal leads.
We need to score goals to win matches and we don’t.
    Enough said!

Listening on radio.Baggies got out of jail today.Wolves should have wrapped up game in the first half, total control Albion hardly had the ball.Seemed to be defending too deep in the second half and that contributed to the goal.Same old story same old Wolves.

I dont think we are “unlucky” all the time..i think the problem is we cant hold the ball enough in the ending minutes…bring on blackpool and play 4-4-2 with this first 11:

    Hennessey

Foley (yes, instead of zubar who gives away too many freekicks)
    Berra
    Stearman
    Elokobi

    Jarvis
    O’Hara
    Milijas
    Hammill

    Ebanks-Blake

Two poor teams demonstrating how bad they are!

A goalkeeper who couldn’t control his nerves!

A manager who relies more on hard work than guile….and is then surprised we don’t create anything!

What’s the point of staying up? It will be same again next year!
