Roy Keane out to land Albion duo

Roy Keane is planning a double swoop on Albion which could see both Luke Moore and Joe Mattock heading to Ipswich on loan.

The Baggies are eager to find first team football for players left stranded by the growing strength of the club’s squad.

Left-back Mattock now finds himself third in a queue headed by Nickey Shorey and Marek Cech for a start while £3.5m striker Moore couldn’t even get a place in the 25-man squad.

Keane is pondering offering the struggling Moore a chance to re-ignite a career which has ground to a standstill at The Hawthorns. Both Albion and Moore’s representatives are eager for the player to find football elsewhere and Ipswich’s interest so far remains the most positive signal.

But the Ipswich boss now also has problems at left-back because of injuries prompting speculation that Mattock will come into his loan plans too.

But Albion’s own injury concerns mean all but Moore – who cannot play Premier League football – will be kept in the club for the moment as the Baggies confront their demanding start to the campaign with defender Jonas Olsson confident his hot-head days are over.

Olsson has collected 15 cautions in his two seasons in England and also got involved in angry exchanges with supporters.

But the Swedish defender believes he has now matured into a calmer figure.

“Coaches, team-mates and parents have told me to try to relax a bit and I think I’ve done that,” he said.

“That comes with growing older, getting more mature and learning to evaluate situations better.”

3 points down the drain, we was rubbish in front of their goal, tchoy should have been on earlier and fortune back to celtic asap. we wont get a better chance, liverpool and spurs both played poorly with key players out, we should have had 6 points of em

How do you know all of this when you seem to spend the whole game on your PC.

This was a great team performance against a team that has been put together at a cost of many million pounds.

I’m not allowed to accuse anyone of being a Wolves fan in disguise any more so I won’t call you a plonker.

On second thoughts, you’re a plonker.

no m8 , im not a plonker, i aint no wolves fan either, i aint got no wolves name in mine unlike yours, so m8, im entitled to my opinion, so when in front of goal, our man does a howler, that in my book my friend is a poor performace in front of goal!!!, i would never stoop as low as you and insult other posters, as i believe the whole point is to say your bit, get it

Sid, 3,4,5 and 7. Do you have any idea how negative you are? I have said my bit on the match action up above, but we could have won today against a silky-smooth, highly talented Spurs who will leave most teams trailing in their wake. Oh, and it was a fine game to watch too. No buses parked, both teams moving tha ball well. Spurs goal came from as good a forward pass you are likely to see. If we can continue in this vein, we shall do very well indeed. Cheer up Sid. That’s an order!

It seems to me by the time of your postings means that you were not at the match, unlike me,i sit in the brummie rd end 2 rows back from the pitch right by the goal and had a clear view, the problem was olsson instead of making sure the ball was safe he was complaining to the linesman, about been fouled, instead of getting straight up and clearing the ball to safety, but i cannot knock him because he works hard for the team.Today was a hard match, made harder by the ref and linesmen not giving us decisions that should have been given but thats life, but second half made changes and could of won it therebut for thier goal keeper,so when you say “poor perfomance” when you ain’t seen the game it winds me up slightly. We have 4 points from 4 games, which i think is great, considering the teams we had to play.My advice to you is instead of sitting at home on your computer, get yourself up the match, and then tell me it was a poor performance,is it any wonder real fans on here think your a wolf.I rest my case.BOING BOING.

As you weren’t at the game how do you make these judgements?
As for insulting other posters, I notice you don’t extend that politeness to the players. If you’d been there you’d know that Fortune ran his guts out for the cause so why slag him off?

I recon this was a good result today. Maybe a little miffed that we didn’t convert the last few chances because a home win against Spurs would have been an amazing result. They may have had Defoe, King and Dawson out but other than that this was the champions league qualifying side from last season plus Van Der Vaart who we almost beat today. Sid you really must start to get some perspective.
I do however hope that RDM reverts back to Winge as our front man for the next few matches. I’d like to see him lead the line and give Tchoyi a proper run out on the wing. I hope the only reason this hasn’t happened yet is because Tchoyi isn’t yet 100%. If thats the case we may still have a few tricks up our sleeve.
So yes we maybe should’ve won, but there are far more positives to take from this point than negatives least of all the fact that we have had the hardest start of all the teams in the league so far and have 4 points to show for it.

Sorry mate but I have to disagree with you on that one, I’ll say Fotune was good in the second half but in the first half he was one of the laziest players I have ever seen.

As for the performance, our goal was unexpected to be honest as I thought we were second best for most of the first half but we more than made up for it in the second. Carry on like that and we will be alright.
