Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

Luke Moore fit but out-of-favour
Friday 20th August 2010, 9:02AM BST.
Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed striker Luke Moore is out-of-favour despite being fit for selection.
Moore was not involved in the squad for the trip to Chelsea on the opening day of the season and his first-team prospects appear increasingly bleak at the Hawthorns, with the club thought to be desperate to offload him.
The £3.5million signing from Villa in 2008 has been desperately falling from the picture since last season, when Albion won promotion to the Premier League, and was made to play in a reserve team that went to play Crewe in pre-season.
His time at the Hawthorns has been largely uneventful and the 24-year-old has started only 32 games for the club, scoring just five goals.
Now the head coach has confirmed that there are no knocks or niggles troubling the player, he just isn’t in his plans at present.
Di Matteo said: “Luke is training. We have other players in front of him and that’s why he wasn’t involved last week.”
