Released Walsall winger joins York
Wednesday 30th June 2010, 9:29AM BST.
Former Walsall winger Peter Till has joined non-league club York on a one-year deal.
The 24-year-old was released by last month, after just a season and 30 appearances for the Saddlers.
But Till has been a long-term target of York boss Martin Foyle and the former Birmingham trainee insists his new boss’ ambition was key.
He said: “I spoke to a number of clubs but this felt right. The gaffer made me feel really wanted.
“”I’ve been playing league football all my career, but it’s not a problem stepping out.”
