Premier League rivals Liverpool are thought to be willing to go to £3million to land Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

ALBION

Albion have reportedly enquired about signing 31-year-old former Portsmouth striker Frederic Piquionne in a cut-price £1million move from French giants Lyon.

VILLA

Villa will also have to undergo crunch contract talks with striker John Carew as the Norwegian striker has just a year left on his deal.

BIRMINGHAM

Birmingham are back in contention to sign Standard Liege striker Dieumerci Mbokani after his proposed move to Fulham fell through.

WALSALL

Walsall captain Mark Hughes has snubbed the Saddlers’ offer of a two-year contract to join Australian outfit North Queensland Fury.
