Villa linked with Martin Petrov move

Villa have been linked with a move for Bulgaria winger Martin Petrov following his release by Premier League rivals Manchester City.
The 31-year-old, along with Benjani and Sylvinho, was told his contract would not be renewed by the Eastlands club yesterday.
The claret and blues have also dismissed reports linking striker Gabby Agbonlahor with a move to Tottenham, in a deal which could have involved former Wolves star Robbie Keane moving back to the Midlands from White Hart Lane.
But Villa flop Marlon Harewood has told Portsmouth he would be willing to move down to the south coast.
The striker is a free agent after his three-year deal at Villa Park ran out.
