Albion and Celtic wait for Reid
Thursday 20th May 2010, 9:33AM BST.
Albion are playing the waiting game with Steven Reid as the club await word over which contract offer the Hawthorns loan star will take.
The Baggies have offered him a permanent contract after his successful loan spell last season, with Reid now a free agent after his release from Blackburn.
But the Republic of Ireland international also has a deal on the table from Glasgow Celtic, after visiting Parkhead for talks on Monday.
Agent Kevin Moran said: “Things haven’t really moved on and Steven still has a lot to consider.
“He has options to weigh up so we won’t be rushing into any decision. It’s a big move to make.
“He was extremely impressed by what he saw and what Celtic had to say.”
