Villa's young stars ended the season on a high with victory at the Hong Kong International Soccer Sevens tournament.

The claret and blue team, which included the likes of Nathan Delfouneso, Ciaran Clark, Marc Albrighton and Benjamin Siegrist, got their hands on the trophy after a 3-2 win over Glasgow Rangers in yesterday's final.

A comfortable 4-0 win over the Yau Yee League Select side on Saturday ensured Villa got off to a perfect start in the tournament group stages.

They followed it up with a 2-0 triumph over Eastleigh FC and a goalless draw against Sunderland, ensuring they finished top of Group B.

In yesterday's knockout stages they progressed past Ajax 3-1 in the quarter-finals, saw off West Ham 3-0 in the last four, before edging out the Scottish giants in the final.
