Let’s attack from the start urges Till

Peter Till today called on Walsall to keep the faith despite the premature end to their season.

The Saddlers are stuck in mid-table with little but pride to play for ahead of the run-in and Till insists they must attack teams from the off.

“We need to keep believing, we’re hovering in mid-table, not down the bottom,” he said.

“Whether it’s luck or not doing something right, we’re not getting the goals to make things easier for us. We seem to do it the hard way, if we can put our fingers on it then we could put it right.

“We have been conceding two or three goals so we’re having to score more to win a game, we just need to start scoring a few more and finish teams off. We have conceded leads often and the one thing we have to do is get more goals and not sit back.”

And with relegation threatened Stockport and Wycombe over the Easter weekend winger Till says they must ensure a six-point haul.

“We have no reason to look over our shoulders, maybe now we have to make sure we keep taking points off the teams below us,” he said.
