Wolves getting better warns Jody
Saturday 27th February 2010, 11:32AM GMT.
Jody Craddock has flashed a defiant message to Wolves’ survival rivals -“We’re getting better.”
Wolves went into today’s clash at Bolton a point and two places clear of the drop zone welcoming back Andy Keogh from injury.
Dave Edwards is set to follow in the next fortnight and Craddock believes the extra bodies will strengthen the squad in the coming games.
“We’ve got a good bunch of lads together and a couple coming back from injury which will give us a boost towards the end of the season,” said Craddock.
“We’re out of the bottom three at the moment which is great.
“And although results might not have shown it, we’re playing some decent football which is encouraging.
“We’ve been doing pretty well and everyone is confident.”
Craddock is convinced Wolves can cope with the pressure of staying in the Premier League.
“Think back to Tottenham and there was pressure on that because we needed a win and we produced a great result,” he said.
“We’ve just got to continue with the same level of performances we’ve shown recently.”
Meanwhile, Craddock’s central defensive partner Christophe Berra is hoping familiarity helps him cement his place in the Scotland team.
New Hampden boss Craig Levein knows the six-capped stopper well having handed him his debut for Hearts in 2003.
“Craig Levein gave me my debut at Hearts – he’s a good manager and I’m looking forward to working with him,” said Berra.
“Hopefully I can get a starting place but that’s down to the manager.
“He’s watched me for my club and my performances have been pretty consistent.
“I’m playing in the best league in the world and I’m playing well against some of the best strikers in the world.
“Every team here has top quality strikers so you’re learning all the time but after a year here, I feel I’ve adapted quite well.
“So if I can carry on doing well for Wolves then my chance with Scotland will come.
“I’ve read in the papers that his first objection is to make us hard to beat and limit teams to very few chances, so we’ll be looking forward to that.”

Come on the team, let’s hope that McCarthy keeps playing people in their best roles and stops fiddling.
The last few games we have seemed to improve, and once we can start scoring goals then we can start winning!

Ward is no left back, Foley is no right winger
MM needs to wise up, admit he is wrong and do the best for the club!
This pig headed attitude of “I don’t give a fling fig what the supporters think” is taking the club backwards
enough is enough – it isn’t working play players in their correct position, MM is starting to look foolish!
