Marlon Harewood will become a free agent in the summer, with Villa allowing the striker to see out the remainder of his contract, which ends in June.

Blues and Tottenham have opened talks over the sale of Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
Central defender Martin Taylor, 30, is in talks to join Newcastle on loan for the rest of the season.
ALBION
Marek Cech is again being linked with a move to Rennes.
The Baggies are said to be interested in Romanian wingers Dacian Varga (Unirea) and Gabi Torje (Dinamo Bucharest).
