Extra classroom for Walsall school

A classroom could be built to improve facilities at a Bloxwich school, under plans.

Plans have been lodged with Walsall Council to build the single storey classroom at Lower Farm Primary School, in Bakewell Close.

A report, lodged with the planning application, reads: "The classroom will add much needed accommodation to the school to provide purpose built classroom space for year six, bringing them into the main school and out of temporary accommodation.

It is not thought the plans will increase staff and pupil numbers.
