The street dance duo, who shot to fame after finishing second on the TV talent competition in 2010, visited the school to provide workshop sessions for youngsters who were overjoyed to not only meet their heroes, but dance alongside them.

The London based duo, who have been giving classes in a blend of street and comedy dancing they call 'Streetomedy' across the country in recent years, worked with Wednesfield High pupils eager to give it their all and impress the stars.

Dance teacher Donna Jones, who organised the session, said: "It was so wonderful to welcome Twist and Pulse to the school for a session with the young ones.

"A lot of the dancers here don't get the opportunity to really stretch themselves and have fun in a situation like this, so it was great to see them let loose.

"Some of the people who came along hadn't really tried dance before but the sessions caught their imagination and when it was over, they realised the potential they have.

"I would recommend these classes to anyone, they are so much fun and the kids had a fantastic time."

Ashley Glazebrook, known as Twist, and Glen Murphy, known as Pulse, met at the BRIT School, where they worked on the formation that brought them the success they have enjoyed since taking part in Britain's Got Talent.

Their blend of street dance and comedy proved a hit with judges on the show and the public.

Now, Mrs Jones is hoping their lesson may have encouraged a future superstar to take the step towards perfecting their art.
