Stars turn out to celebrate Bert Williams’ MBE

The great and the good from decades of history at Wolverhampton Wanderers gathered to congratulate club legend Bert Williams on his MBE.

Bert Williams was honoured by past stars of the Wolves team and special guests at a celebration dinner at Molineux to mark him receiving the honour earlier this month.

Around 200 guests packed into the Jack Haywood Suite on Saturday. The special surprise guest was Elizabeth Richard from London, a lookalike of the Queen.

Mr Williams said: “It is a wonderful feeling to have so many good memories.”
