Dozens of men and women slipped into high heels and walked a mile to raise awareness of domestic abuse.

The Haven, which offers support to the victims of domestic violence in Wolverhampton, held its fifth 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes' event at West Park yesterday.
Far from an average sponsored walk, the event challenged participants to complete a mile circuit of the park in their best stilettos.
The event started with an energetic warm-up routine fronted by Lee Allen, from Willenhall, who donned a pair of size nine silver glitter heels from Next and twerked his way through The Pussycat Dolls Don't Cha.
