The world's biggest-selling whisky is to be the focus of a new UK advertising campaign.
Johnnie Walker, primarily an export brand, is aiming to attract a new generation of British drinkers.
November will see the launch of a £7.2 million television and magazine ad campaign for Johnnie Walker Red Label.
The whisky blend dates back to 1820 and is the world's number one selling Scotch whisky, according to drinks giant Diageo.
It sells more than 10 million cases annually, comprising more than half Johnnie Walker's total sales.
Gavin Pike, Johnnie Walker brand director, said: "Johnnie Walker Red Label is our original 'pioneer', a ground-breaking whisky born from the progressive spirit of our founding family, a whisky that saw Johnnie Walker travel from the four corners of Scotland to the four corners of the world.
"The UK campaign builds on that great story of progress and aims to inspire a new generation of UK consumers to discover Johnnie Walker and Scotch whisky."
