A busy town centre will be closed over the weekend for a popular festival expected to attract hundreds of visitors.
St James’ Road, in Dudley, was sealed off today at 10am and will remain so until 5pm on Sunday for the town’s Rock and Fossil Festival.
Events are being held at Dudley Museum and Art Gallery and the town hall.
The closure will make pedestrian access between the two venues easier and safer.
The car park at the rear of Dudley Council House will also be closed for exhibitors use only tomorrow and Sunday.
