Armed robber pictured counting cash as he walks out of Dudley bank

Police investigating an armed robbery on Dudley High Street have released images of a suspect as part of their appeal for information.

During the robbery, which took place last Wednesday, a man walked into the Royal Bank of Scotland with a large kitchen knife and demanded cash from the staff who handed over a considerable sum.

He then left the branch and crossed over towards Lloyds Bank before heading down an alleyway towards King Street.

Images from the CCTV cameras, released by West Midlands Police, show a male in a black hooded sweatshirt leaving the bank with handfuls of banknotes.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect, or who may have seen the man leaving the area, is asked to contact Detective Constable David Laver on d.laver@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk referring to crime no. 20DY/194824C/16.
