It was bought on March 25 in the West Bromwich West parliamentary constituency, which includes in Oldbury, Tipton and parts of Wednesbury.

The lucky ticket-holder is due to receive not only the £1 million prize, but as it was drawn on the last Friday of the month, known as Euromillions Mega Friday, they will also be able to get a trip to the US.

The last date to claim is September 21 this year.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "Once a winning ticket is drawn there are 180 days in which to claim the winnings. After the 180th day the winnings and any interest is donated to good causes.

"We are trying our best to find the person or persons this ticket belongs to."n order to preserve the winner's anonymity until the prize is claimed, at which point they will have the option to either go public or remain secret, the National Lottery has only revealed that the ticket was bought in the West Bromwich West parliamentary constiuency.

As such Camelot representatives will be joining the Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Julie Webb, in going around the area on Friday to try and locate the fortunate resident, as well as raising awareness among the general public.

This will include images of several potential destinations the winner may pick for their trip to America, with which people can have a 'Wish you were here' style selfie.

At 11am on Friday they will be leaving the Mayor's Parlour at the Big House on Church Street in Oldbury and making there way through the town.
