I didn't know what his intentions where but he made me feel sick. I became stressed, paranoid and was not sleeping properly."

Last also made a malicious phone call to a community psychiatric nurse working for a mental health crisis team on March 5 threatening to harm himself and kill his former partner, revealed the prosecutor. When the nurse said she would call the police he warned that he would 'get her.'

Judge James Burbidge QC said: "I have a psychiatric report which says you have significant mental health issues which makes your behaviour more comprehensible although not excusable."
