Jason Westcott was found on the A451 Ringway in November last year and later died in hospital.

Simon Lee Robinson, aged 43, has now been charged with causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.

Robinson, of Steatite Way, Stourport, has been bailed by West Mercia Police until June 23 when he is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.

Mr Westcott was taken to hospital with head and abdominal injuries but later died.

Following his death, his parents Kelley and Mark Westcott paid tribute in a Facebook post.

They wrote: "You made us so proud and said such lovely, thoughtful things to us.

"The laughter and fun that you brought to us and the family when ever you walked in will surely be missed and never forgot."
