Cannabis worth £58,000 seized in Halesowen flat raid

Around £58,000 worth of cannabis was found by police stashed at a flat in Halesowen.

Officers discovered 58 cannabis plants in the ground floor property in the early morning raid.

Police swooped on the address along Manor Lane on Saturday.

Police reported no-one was in the building at the time of raid.

It has been estimated the cannabis was worth around £58,000.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

The raid come as officers revealed more than £22 million of cannabis was seized in raids by West Midlands Police last year.

In December almost 500 cannabis plants were discovered in just two raids in Wolverhampton and Sandwell.
