Thieves struck at Bushbury Crematorium in Underhill Lane last month, stealing items from memorials.

A security camera has since been installed and members of the Bushbury North neighbourhood policing team have been focussing on the site this month.

Sgt Gavin Plumridge said: "Officers have increased their patrols at the location and have obtained the use of a Domehawk camera to help identify any possible offender.

"There are planned operations during the month of December which will see an increase in police presence at the location."
