Bosses are in 'constructive talks' with Monmore Stadium owner Ladbrokes over a possible move from their current base in Perry Barr, Birmingham.

A statement by the club tonight said the current management team of Chris Van Straaten, Nigel Pearson and Gary Patchett - who had been planning to sell-up - would be willing to carry on in their roles if the club was to move to Wolverhampton.

The club said: "Whilst these talks continue, no further discussions will take place regarding the sale of the club as the management trio would be willing to continue at Monmore Green with the help and support of the Heathens Supporters Trust, Ollie Ommer Children's Club and the loyal group of supporters.

"We would like to thank our fans, riders and sponsors for their patience and hope we can bring some positive news in the near future."
