Recruitment drive for 50 TJ Hughes jobs in Walsall
A recruitment drive will be launched to fill up to 50 jobs earmarked for the returning TJ Hughes store in Walsall town centre.
Bosses at the discount department store today said they were 'delighted' to be opening in the Saddlers Shopping Centre in October.
The 30,000sq ft store will take over the former Argos site and bosses are looking to recruit locally to take on the posts through Universal Job Match. TJ Hughes was previously based in the old Woolworth in Park Street but left three years ago.
Managing director Anil Juneja said: "We are absolutely delighted to be reopening in Walsall with a better offering and shopping experience than ever.
"Our ultimate aim is to return to many of the 55 towns where we've previously had stores and are lucky enough to still have such a loyal customer base."
