Taken during a day trip by amateur photographer Carly Williamson, from Halesowen, the close up picture is the winner of our latest Star Witness competition.

It shows a group of little pigs catching a few winks at Little Owl Farm Park near Ombersley in Worcestershire.

Mrs Williamson, 30, took her family to the 18 acre farm to celebrate her daughters second birthday.

The Asda worker has two children, Hollie,8 and Nyah, 2 and said: " "We went there for my youngest daughters birthday. It is a perfect day out for her age, I would really recommend it. You can pet lots of animals there and there is a cafe and indoor play centre."

During the trip Mrs Williamson took the winning snap on her mobile phone.

The budding photographer said: "Although I do have a good camera, this picture was taken on my phone, I love snapping away at everything, wherever we go."

The cute picture captured her attention and Mrs Williamson said: "I just love how they are all piled up on top of each other and happily asleep. I think it is a really nice picture.

"They were snuggled up together under the heated lamp and mum was over the other side, having a well deserved rest too. Nyah loved them."

Mrs Williamson submitted the pictures after seeing an advertisement for the monthly competition on Facebook.

She said: "I have had an interest in photography for a long time. I have photographed a few events and weddings but just for friends. It is something I want to do more.

"I have done a few online courses and read tips about photography but it's mainly self taught."

Mrs Williamson added: "I was really shocked when I was told I had won, I had forgotten I had submitted it.

"The category was 'things that make you smile' and this picture certainly made me smile."
