But when Amy Goodall isn't cheering Jon on from the sidelines, she's entertaining a crowd of her own with her powerful vocals.

The professional singer from Willenhall is only 19 but is already making a name for herself in the industry.

She was the only UK vocalist to reach the final three in an online competition to win a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour with American crooner Michael Bolton.

Now visitors to Wolverhampton Magazine's wedding fair on March 22, at The Mount Hotel in Tettenhall, will be able to hear Amy perform live.

Amy said: "I'm really excited about singing at the wedding fair – it's a great platform for me to showcase my voice. I hope visitors will enjoy my performance."

The teenager – who dreams of making it as a recording artist – narrowly missed out on the chance to be a backing singer for Grammy award-winning artist Michael Bolton and join him for his on the road tour.

Amy recorded her audition at Beatsabar studio at Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton, and says she was thrilled to be in the top three.

"It was fantastic because the competition was open to thousands of people. I really rate Michael Bolton's voice and although I'm only 19 I do like his hit How Am I Supposed To Live Without You."

The singer-songwriter personally picked the top 20 applicants based on their vocal ability and the number of public votes they received. His management team then whittled it down further before the winner was chosen earlier this year.

Also entertaining brides-to-be at Wolverhampton Magazine's free wedding fair will be seven-piece jazz band The Vintage Rhythms. They will perform hits from the classic jazz era by Cole Porter, Ray Charles, Gershwin and Glenn Miller among others.

Featuring trumpet, flugelhorn, mellophone, harmonica and wind synthesizer, musician and vocalist Mike Snow rounds off the entertainment with his unique act.

With up to 40 stands, visitors are invited to meet the wedding specialists who will be there from 11am until 4pm.

Meanwhile, Amy released her first music video last year which is a collaboration with WOP Music, one of the region's newest production companies. The video for debut single Sometimes premiered at the Light House in Wolverhampton.

It then aired on BritAsia SKY Channel 833 for a month and is also due to be play listed on BBC radio after receiving positive reviews on BBC Introducing back in September. The music promotional video of Sometimes has already reached 26,000 views, according to WOP.

Singer songwriter Amy attended Coppice Performing Arts School and is currently studying musical theatre at the University of Wolverhampton. She has recently graduated from the acclaimed Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London.

Amy has been singing since she was a child and says her inspiration comes from her late aunt Janette Baggot, who sang under the stage name Janny Lee Stone.
