Staff from Matthew Ellis's office posted the video to YouTube featuring outtakes and funny footage from the last year.

Mr Ellis, who was elected as the county's first Police and Crime Commissioner in 2012, frequently makes a series of short videos that are posted to his website and YouTube.

Entitled 'Commissioner's Outtakes 2014.. A bit of fun for Christmas' the video shows Mr Ellis being drenched during an ice bucket challenge in Stafford town centre, fluff his lines in front of the camera, and be interrupted by a loud door screeching.

Mr Ellis has also sending out his own Christmas cards which is prompting people to support the Staffordshire Retired Police Dogs Fund which raises money to support the needs of ex-force dogs.
