Three bays are closed in two wards at the hospital.

The outbreak began in early November with 12 patients initially affected.

Two bays in ward A8, elderly care and one bay in C24, renal medicine, are closed.

Visiting restrictions are in place for the affected bays but the rest of the two wards remain open.

The bays will only reopen once patients have been symptom-free for 72 hours.

Bosses have been bracing themselves for a big outbreak this winter after the bug struck as early as August this year.
