The goalkeeper announced he had dropped off the 'top designer' goods at Women's Aid store in Stratford Road in Shirley on Twitter yesterday afternoon.

Nashema Sheikh, chief executive at the charity, said she was delighted with the donation.

Ms Sheikh said: "When I got told about what happened I was shocked, but chuffed. I also know the workers were shocked when he came in with the items for donation."

Foster, who signed a contract last summer to stay at the Hawthorns until 2019, lives in Warwickshire with his wife and two children.
