Walsall Outreach has sent out more than 3,000 food parcels since the pandemic began and delivers 70 hot meals each Friday, as well as Sunday lunches for 15 elderly residents.

Project Lead Nadeem Ashraf said: “We’ve been serving more than 200 people during the pandemic and we thought that rather than just giving them the basic supplies, we could give them more at Christmas.

"We’re looking to try and deliver presents to help these families to celebrate Christmas with something they normally wouldn’t be able to do without help.”

The charity is looking to deliver presents, hampers and a Christmas Day meal to more than 80 children that they have delivered to and would welcome donations from those who can help.
