Tyre blaze sees black smoke pour over the M6
Black smoke has been pouring over the M6 this afternoon as a result of a tyre blaze near the motorway.

Crews from Walsall Fire Station were sent to Diamond Tyres Ltd on Bentley Mill Way at 3:38pm to reports of a number of tyres that had caught fire.
On arrival, firefighters discovered that a total of 20 tyres were alight, with black smoke spilling over on to the busy motorway resulting in reduced visibility for motorists.
Matt Smith, spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service, said: "The fire involves 20 tyres in total, with nine firefighters using two hose reels to put out the blaze."
