"A paramedic and doctor got into the car to start treatment while he was trapped until the fire service could remove the windscreen.

"There were two other walking wounded patients on the scene."

There was an ambulance, paramedic and doctor from Midlands Air Ambulance at Cosford on the scene.

Police were on hand following the crash, as well as five fire crews from Telford Central and Wellington.
