Woman left with 'life-changing injuries' after horror Black Country crash

A woman has been left with 'life-changing injuries' after a crash that left a car overturned in the driveway of a Black Country home.

Emergency services were called to the two-car crash on Moseley Road in Willenhall at 9.45pm on Friday night.

West Midlands Police spokesman Hannah Fitzgerald said the driver of one of the cars was taken to hospital in a serious condition with injuries that were 'not deemed life-threatening, but potentially life-changing'.

Photos taken by firefighters from Willenhall showed one car ended up overturned, crumpled and resting against a vehicle in the driveway of a house.

Crews from Willenhall and Bilston had to lift the car to free the trapped casualty.

The driver of the other car was also taken to hospital as a precaution but is not believed to have been badly injured.
