Kitten travelled 10 MILES in car engine before rescue

A kitten has had a lucky escape after being trapped in a car engine which had been on a 10 mile journey from Brewood to Albrighton.

A fire crew was sent to the scene on Loak Road, Albrighton, to release the trapped kitten from the engine of the car at about 8.45am this morning.

The crew from Albrighton used small gear and a thermal imaging camera to save the pet which escaped with no major injuries.

A vet was also on hand to check the animal over.
