The crash happened shortly before 3.30pm when her orange Renault Clio collided with a black Mazda.

Mrs Twaite, from Blakedown, received serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.

Her family said: "Naomi who was known to family and friends as Pip was an amazing mother and grandmother of two and a great grandmother.

"She always thought of others and took great pleasure in organising the transport for the Kidderminster branch of the Worcestershire Blind Association.

"She was also a keen member of the Blakedown Women's Institute and local art group."

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either of the vehicles, and the manner in which they were being driven, before the collision occurred.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting 503s of June 11.
