Dudley teenager killed in bike crash named as Brandon Holt

A teenager died when the motorbike he was riding crashed into a stationary car in Dudley.

Brandon Holt, 17, was riding on Wrens Nest Road at around 6.15am on Sunday when the tragedy happened.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital but he died later that day.

Officers are now appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who witnessed the collision to come forward.

Tributes have been paid to the teenager on Facebook, and a fundraising page set up in his memory.

Debbie Wood wrote: "Gone but not forgotten! .. Bet you never realised just how liked/loved you actually are Brandon!..

"If only you could see how everyone is coming together for you now! To everyone reading this.. Tell those you love how much you love them today, don't wait for a tragedy to happen before expressing yourselves!

"Fly high Bran.. You cheeky chappy xxx"

Pc Damian Gibson said: "We are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the weekend's tragic incident.

"We have specialist officers who continue to liaise with the family of Brandon at this sad time and our thoughts remain with them."
