Ruth Anne Smith was last seen at around 10.20am at her Aldridge home on Friday, April 15.

The 42-year-old is described as 5ft 1ins tall, with straight shoulder length brown hair, of a slim build, and she wears glasses.

She was last seen wearing a black fleece, black trousers, black Dr Martens boots, and carrying two carrier bags.

Detective Inspector Jackie Nicholson from Walsall Police said: "Ruth has never been missing before, we really need to find her. Thanks to everyone who is sharing our appeal locally, we really appreciate it.

"I would urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen Ruth to call me, or a member of my team, as soon as they can on 101, or call the Missing People charity on 116 000."
