Vulnerable woman helped down from Wolverhampton bridge by police
A woman seen on a bridge over a busy Wolverhampton road is being assessed by health professionals after police were called to help get her down today.

The woman was seen on the Gorsebrook Road Bridge, Oxley, over the A449 Stafford Road, near McDonalds.
Police were called to assist the woman at around 2pm.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "As soon as the police arrived she came down."
Officers carried out a health assessment on the woman and she is believed to have been taken to hospital.
