IN PICTURES: Firefighters remain at scene of derelict Willenhall factory blaze

More than 24 hours after it began firefighters continue to work at the scene of a derelict factory fire in Willenhall.

Yesterday the derelict Legge Locks factory was gutted by a huge blaze which broke out at around 7.40am.

At its height 12 crews from West Midlands Fire Service battled the inferno in Stafford Street.

A total of 12 crews from West Midlands Fire Service attended the fire which was believed to have started at around 7.40am this morning.

Steve Lees, a spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service, said: It's not one of the worst fires I've attended I've got to admit but it did look quite spectacular."

Investigators are now trying to establish the cause of the fire.
