Multi-vehicle smash shuts M5 carriageway
A five-vehicle crash closed the M5 northbound.

The smash which happened at around 6.30pm yesterday evening closed the northbound carriageway between Junctions 2 for Oldbury and 1 for West Bromwich for more than an hour.
A family of three were taken to hospital; a 25-year-old woman who was suffering from neck pain, a 25-year-old man who was suffering with back pain, and a three-year-old child who was uninjured.
Emergency services were delayed getting to the scene of the smash due to motorists using lanes which had been closed.
