Arson attack hits empty Wolverhampton flats

Around 14 firefighters battled a suspected arson attack in empty flats in Wolverhampton.

Crews were called to the empty two storey house which has been converted into flats in King Street, Bradley at just before 3am today.

West Midlands Fire Service spokesman Matt Smith, said: "We got the call at 2.55am to a property in King Street, Bradley and sent three fire engines.

"The incident involved a fire in the ground floor, subsequently spreading to the first floor.

Firefighters from Wednesbury, Bilston and Tipton were called.
